Advanced [water detection]
Advanced [water detection]
The first online sensor to detect
the presence of water in PPM
OilMoisture
Water is one of the most dangerous contaminants for the lubrication of critical systems, not only because its presence could be a sign of leaks, but also because it acts as a catalyst for the corrosion of critical machine components, and the degradation of lubrication oil. OilMoisture is an online optical sensor which uses infrared technology precisely to detect the water content of hydraulic and lubrication systems. This sensor’s early diagnosis capacity serves to reduce possible faults associated with the presence of water, thereby improving the reliability of the machinery and processes.
As well as detecting the presence of water, the OilMoisture sensor can also provide information as to the risk of degradation, another harmful factor for the lubrication of critical systems.
One of the main benefits of this sensor is its versatility within the installation. It can be integrated directly into the lubrication system or the oil sump tank, allowing for more straightforward incorporation within the machinery.

[Real time] benefits
Cutting-edge technology providing
early and precise detection of
water content in hydraulic and
lubrication systems
By significantly extending the useful life of lubrication oil, OilMoisture reduces the number of oil changes, and hence overall operational cost.
OilMoisture comes with full SCADA/PC/PLC integration through digital communications. It is also compatible with a CMS.
By ensuring that the oil flow is in optimal condition at all times, OilMoisture provides operatives with greater certainty, increases operability, productivity and machinery uptime.
By reducing the number of oil changes and limiting the waste generated, OilMoisture serves to achieve a highly positive environmental impact.
OilMoisture detects anomalies in the lubricant, both in its initial status and during its useful life, serving to resolve incidents before they arise.
This sensor’s early diagnosis capacity serves to reduce possible faults associated with the presence of water, thereby improving the reliability of the machinery and processes.
