Atten2 launches its complete portfolio of solutions, marking a milestone in the industry!

Atten2, a leader in fluid monitoring technology, presents its complete portfolio of solutions, the result of the hard work of its R&D team. From its inception at the Tekniker technology and development center to its transformation into a commercializing company in 2011, Atten2 has been revolutionizing the fluid monitoring industry for more than 20 years.

Atten2’s patented and pioneering optical technology allows unprecedented insight into lubrication systems and the machines that use them. With this technology, it is now possible to see with our own eyes what is happening at the heart of lubrication processes, providing invaluable knowledge and information to engineering and maintenance teams.

In response to the needs raised by leading industrial groups over the past 11 years, Atten2 has expanded its range of solutions. It has always been a company that listens to the market, seeking innovation and development to meet the demands of its customers.

Atten2’s portfolio of solutions includes the following families of optical sensors:

OilHealth sensors

Prolongs oil life, reducing the cost of replacements. OilHealth is an online monitoring sensor, based on optical principles, that accurately determines the state of degradation of the lubricating oil, allowing to know the deterioration and contamination of the oil during its useful life. It reduces the number of necessary replacements, having a positive impact on the environment and the sustainability of the process. Its design in probe format facilitates its direct installation on the lubrication system or lubricant storage sump, without the need for any by-pass. It resolves any incident in real time thanks to its connectivity, as it easily integrates with SCADA/PC/PLC or even CMS systems.

OilWear sensors

Much more than a particle counter. It is a unique online sensor capable of detecting particles and bubbles larger than 4 microns in the machine fluid and classifying them into six size ranges. Designed to work online, this sensor provides real-time information about the machine’s condition through the contamination of its fluids. With a robust, modular design and easily integrated into any data acquisition system or asset’s CMS, OilWear® offers an advanced solution for the monitoring and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery. Four different types, the OilWear C series for particle counting, bubble counting and discrimination and classification by micron measurement ranges. The S series which is the OilWear with all its capabilities, particle counting, bubble counting and discrimination, classification by measurement ranges and by particle morphology for root cause and fluid degradation. The S SS Series is the OilWear in stainless steel material for corrosive fluid applications and the S EX Series specially designed for ATEX environments.

OilMoisture sensors

The presence of moisture in lubricants can be detrimental to equipment. Atten2’s OilMoisture sensors measure and control moisture in lubricating fluids, preventing corrosion problems and reducing the risk of failure. The first online sensor that detects the presence of water in PPM Water is one of the most dangerous contaminants for the lubrication of critical systems, not only because its presence can be a symptom of leaks, but also because it acts as a catalyst for corrosion of critical machine components and degradation of the lubricating oil. OilMoisture is an online optical sensor that uses infrared technology to accurately detect water content in hydraulic and lubrication systems. Thanks to its early diagnostic capability, this sensor can reduce potential failures associated with the presence of water, thereby improving machinery and process reliability.

In addition to detecting the presence of water, the OilMoisture sensor can also provide information on the risk of degradation, another detrimental factor for lubrication in critical systems. One of the main advantages of this sensor is its versatility in installation.

It can be integrated directly into the lubrication system or into the oil sump tank, which simplifies its incorporation into machinery.

Integrated Solutions

Atten2 integrated solutions offer a complete and satisfying experience to our customers by combining state-of-the-art technology, engineering services and technological solutions. They facilitate installation and with the portable approach, we provide flexibility in their use in different locations. With the launch of its complete portfolio of solutions, Atten2 consolidates its position as a reference in the field of fluid monitoring. Its innovative technology and focus on customer satisfaction have positioned the company as an industry leader.
The SMK combines the unique capability of the OilWear® sensor with a built-in HMI display, allowing relevant information to be viewed at the machine.

The RSMK The Rugged Smart Monitoring Kit has been specially designed for heavy and/or mobile machinery applications. This plug&play add-on kit is compatible with any hydraulic system, regardless of brand or design. Equipped with the advanced Atten2 OilWear 2.0 sensor, the RSMK offers accurate particle counting according to ISO or NAS standards, as well as bubble detection, shape recognition and oil degradation. It includes a flow condition solution to monitor operating conditions regardless of fluid dynamics. Wireless communication is via a 3G /4G gateway. The Rugged series has been designed to withstand the most extreme conditions of shock and vibration. Its stainless steel housing guarantees protection against water and dust (IP66 and IK10), providing durability and reliability in any environment.

The OilCMS is The portable, rugged, real-time solution revolutionizing particle analysis in lubrication systems. An innovative and versatile solution that uses Atten2’s OilWear optical technology for particle counting and analysis in lubrication systems. Using advanced digital imaging technology, OilCMS provides a detailed view of particles, allowing air bubbles to be removed and their shape to be recognized. It offers ISO 4406 counts, as well as particle size classifications of 4, 6, 14, 21, 38, 70. The captured digital images are combined with advanced algorithms, allowing the particles to be classified into fatigue wear, shear wear and sliding wear categories. This detailed classification provides a comprehensive root cause analysis of the particles present in the oil. Its portable and robust design allows it to be transported and used on different machines.
